Is there no way to change the camera elevation any more. I saw a guy on youtube during alpha pitching the camera much more than appears to be possible now. Lack of camera features (pitch/rotation) is a game killer for me in any RTS game. It's the difference between a lot of hours invested into the game and minimal hours invested. Why is the free camera option disabled in game ? Do the devs intend to re-enable this feature ? Are there any mods available that address this ? Thanks in advance for any help regarding this. There is/was a proper Freecam before, that's how I got these pics; I wouldn't worry, I wouldn't expect them to ignore it, I'd assume it's just a poor side-effect of updates and such and barring all that, Modders will certainly take that on, Machinima type stuff has a pretty solid background in SupCom/FA so it will be wanted. I just submitted a fix restoring the free/debug cams to the state they were in before the camera overhaul. They will probably need some more polish going forward....
Thank you for your quick response. When you say submitted a fix, does that mean it's now implemented or submitted for deployment pending further testing ? I sincerely hope this will be functional sometime soon as I really want to start playing this game. It's looking very tasty indeed.
