After a test round with 4 planets and 1 weak AI to test things, I've got a weird bug. I can't do anything with my units, nor can I use the UI and I can't even open the menu. This is really weird. Does it matter that there are over 1000 units on one planet? Because it just happened after my last nuke exploded in the enemy base(6 nukes). Then the units just stopped responding and the only thing I could do was to watch how my base defends itself. I have also experimented with several camera modes like free, space and debug camera. Well, the test round is unplayable right now.
I get this lockup randomly too. You can scroll around, but you can't select units or interact with the menus in any way, esc doesn't bring up a menu and F5 doesn't do anything. The UI just completely stops responding to anything. The only way to exit the game at this point is to alt+f4 or ctrl+alt-del If you let it run, the game eventually just locks solidly. Video card drivers are up to date. Never had this problem with any other game, nor before the update in regards to PA... Somebody broke the code I think...
yeah bump this same problem, not all the time, usually late game though not always. Strangely seems to happen just before I'm going to win, super annoying!
