For consistent version checking in mods it would be great if every scene model included buildVersion. ie model.buildVersion = ko.observable().extend({ session: 'build_version' }); Currently buildVersion is missing from scenes like connect_to_game, uberbar, etc. I know that we can check and decode sessionStorage ourselves but it would be better if it's always in the model just in case the implementation changes one day. Any mods that patch or make destructive changes should probably disable themselves for newer builds until tested in PTE.
