Hi, 1.BUG the game disconnects from servers in the middle of missions... which is amazing when you get thrown out after you spend an hour especially when it happens regularly 2.BUG ive had two times when I launch a mission the game spanw a map with 2 planets with already build based of a blue larger faction and a smaller orange faction. I myself was playing as the red faction the game was paused and there were no landing locations. quiting just suspended the game client into limbo with the main menu background. 3. galactic war seems very uninspired in its implementation with as far as ive seen never battles with more than 2 sides. And the relentless difficulty the only diffuclty that seems to cause the AI to fight in ANY way. In beta I remember the AI being a common case ant population just spreading anywhere but you seem to have nerfed it into oblivion now... I hope some more dev time will be spend improving galactic war, Some global abilities might be fun like summoning a squad which is provided after conquering a sector or specific planet ... just more depth outside of a series of skirmishes where you try to get some composition of tech. I'm pretty impressed that PA is able to run at all on those specs. Anyway, which those specs, it means that you are playing Galactic War on-line on Uber servers, so could the disconnects have anything to do with your Internet connect? Next time it happens, can you try quitting PA and starting it again. Does it offer to reconnect? (Also, as a rather annoying workaround, you can try saving every half hour or so) The second issue I have heard of happening before. Instead of connecting to your game, you actually connect to somebody else's game. It's really weird. Do you get the "Replay Loading" screen when that happens? I don't think there is one that lets multiple sides battle though.
reconnecting nope, ... last time I tried to start the game it squarely refused to connect to the server at all, and actually it runs quite fine. Just loading takes ages but I accept that as part of my old laptop. and yea It might be somebody's elses save file but its the weirdest bug ive ever had! it consistently loads that same game and I'm not even loading a game its just starting a mission. Ive deinstalled now I don't want to spend so much time on a game that doesnt work and barely challenges in single player
Oh, you get it consistently? That's interesting. For most people it just happens every now and then. I've never had it occur for instance. Maybe it's due to the long loading times you have that something on the server side just times out and causes a reconnect to the wrong thing. Hmm, too bad you uninstalled it. I'd be very interested in your log files...
You know the game runs pretty well on modern hardware, it has some bugs but saying it doesn´t work is not true. Maybe not for your specs but that is to be expected, I don´t really believe mine to run the division but it can do pretty well with PA
With doesnt run I just meant It bugs too often to be acceptable. And I installed and played 2 days lets say 20 games and got the loaded map 3-4 times. and got disconnected 2-3 times. Which means 25% of games I played I was basicly wasting time since the map load bug causes (on my system) a fairly long loading time and getting out cleanly isn't obvious. I must say that the connection bug seems to occur when the game gets heavier. Although I have NO concrete proof of this since sometimes bigger games are just fine. they happened later in the game when I was at a point to 'turn the tide' so a peak of the amount of units (If my game sense is correct after 20 games example about to finish a manhattan which clear knowledge of the position of one of the enemy commanders). I will maybe play again if I get a stronger pc. I'll post again If it happens again and include my logs
