I believe this kind of bug is as old as the smashing system, but I couldn't find its own thread. Setting up the system: Planet A orbits the sun; Planet B and Planet C orbits Planet A; Planet A is halleyable. Generating the bug: Build enough halleys at Planet A and send it to annihilate Planet B (or Planet C), the following effects will happen: 1. The Planet A will go into a "dog chasing tail" effect, never reaching its target, and moving the entire block to the limits of the system. You will see the Sun shrinking and it will disappear; 2. Once activated, the Cancel Move button won't work, the only way to stop Planet A is by destroying the halleys; 3. It is not possible to move to Planet A from Planet B or C, units simply won't obey the command. It is possible to send units from A to B, or A to C, but they will get stuck in space and never reach the destination. It is possible to normally send units from B to C and from C to B.
