Yes, the mouse pointer is missing. I wanted to try PA with steam on Linux (Ubuntu 12.04). But there is not mouse pointer. The machine is a ThinkPad X220. That is second generation intel core i7 with integrated graphics (HD3000 I believe). cheers
See this thread. You can either insert some JavaScript manually or install the mod found in that thread. I use that to run on my Intel i7. Currently the game seems to be broken with the open source driver in general though, so your mileage may vary in actually getting into a game.
