Not sure what is going on here. My friend and I got destroyed in this game though. We were not sure how he killed us. There was nothing around us or in the air. We had no deep-space radar up so we figured it was just space laser. In the replay we where quite surprised though. After watching the cam you can clearly see he had 5 inferno's loaded on 5 Astraeus. And they were attacking with flame from space. At 6:50 in the recording on planet nerthus you can see this without doubt. I then tried to reproduce this in a single player game with my friend. We had no luck figuring out how he did it. But we believe it had something to do with the unload command? We are just not sure. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a bug or intended gameplay? Replay ID is this: 2828338574232253978 Thanks, Sean
Yup, I am able to reproduce this one. This seems like a pretty severe one. To reproduce: Area load a bunch of infernos with the astraeuses. Send them to another planet exactly above the enemy commander Space flames! @jables: You might want to fix this in light of the newly released ranked 1v1 play. Relevant bug report: PA#4215
This sounds pretty severe, but I just hope that in fixing this bug, they don't also remove the ability for artillery units to fire from Astreii in space... beccause that is actually well balanced, looks cool and is great for breaking orbital stalls.
