Annoying issue with fabber efficiency and build rate calculations. Say i have a fabber/factory that has 10 metal drain and 0 energy drain. I am positive metal, but negative energy so that my overall build efficiency is at 10%. What happens Fabber builds at 10% speed, even though it should not require any energy whatsoever to function. What should happen Fabber builds at 100% speed because it doesn't need energy.
moved to support as this is not really a modding related bug. I.e. I'd guess that combat engineers have it out of the box.
Should be instafixed, as it sounds really easy to fix! Would result in a buff for combat fabricators and reclaiming fabbers, but that´s just OK in my eyes!
Just imagine that it requires power to transport the metal to/from the fabber/factory even if they're not using any themselves. Or without power, communications and thus resource management breaks down. Or however Uber care to explain it. The current way punishes those that fail to manage/protect their economy and that's the way I think it should be.
That wasn't supposed to be commentary on vanilla PA balance or design. This is a bug that affects modders and we would like to see it get fixed (among other bugs)!
