for the mac version of the game if you start a game and then go to settings, change something, and hit done when you come back the field of view is completely black and won't rerender. This also happens if you let the computer go to sleep before trying to open a new game.
This is an issue that has started to come around, the best work around is to not adjust game settings while in game but before and after. Uber knows about this bug and is trying to fix it
