This is odd because this is the first time ever having black sun texture. Also, I am not running AMD either.

Anyone else getting this recently? Should I add to bug tracker?

EDIT: Stopped getting it, didn't do anything to fix it either. Guess I won't submit unless someone else gets.

    Nah it's not a bug, it's a black hole.

With no reproduction this one is useless. Sun shader are extremely complicated and @bgolus already said he want to replace it with another one so I suppose there is no reason to report this one.

Is it that bad doc? I mean, I just played a 6 body game, none too terribly big, but with 4 players, me and 3 AIs, starting 2 each on 2 planets, with 2 moons each planet, and still had 10 fps at the end. About 10 anyway. Wasn't a slideshow, wasn't fluid either.

I mean, it is still not an AMD. AMD are usually what does that, not this.

I guess it if it still works it is okay, but I am used to my GTX 760 with 30 - 60 FPS until very late game, rarely dropping below 15

That's a very old card, to be honest I'm surprised it has sufficient open gl support for pa. Have you considered looking at something a bit more modern? The new 750ti looks nice and is super efficient (so no issues on power supplies as its completely powered by the pcie slot).

I have the same exact problem. AMD Radeon 6800 HD. I'm having this issue since the beginning of the Gamma phase, just forgot to report it.
