I am not sure what to do here, as I have played the alpha, seen and tested bugs only to come to here and the bug tracker to find them already well recorded. I don't feel like I should be creating redundant threads and such, so I don't know how to help...do I just back up peoples recorded bugs on the bug tracker site?
That's what I've done on the one's I've come across. Or I'll look on the tracker to see what glitchy things I can do!
In terms of the bug tracker, I feel the same way. I want to contribute toward the development process, but it appears most of the bugs I have ran into have already been reported (the rest are either too difficult to describe or replicate). I have been voting and commenting when I've noticed similar bugs, it is the least I can do. I tried (and failed) to start a discussion thread here about a camera issue. But it has already been addressed (and fixed as I don't notice the issue anymore in the latest alpha build).
Thats just what you do. Vote for the bug, or add a comment if you have new insight on the problem. Thats the only way to ensure, that the devs won't have to waste time with crawling through long forum threads but can actually get their work done. But it's not like you couldn't find new bugs, there are quite a few which haven't been detected or reported yet, you only need to do a bit of testing.
You're finding bugs, then going to the proper place to report them. Even though the bugs have been reported, you certainly shouldn't be feeling bad. You're doing your job perfectly.
