Don't you think there should be a Brad Nicholson commander with massive biceps? Maybe just a picture of his face for the face of the commander? Seems legit to me. He would just do push ups and sit ups when he is idle. Also for his uber cannon he would shoot a giant fist out and kill everything in sight? Maybe be the primary defense for an incoming asteroid, just grab it and Hercules that hoe?
