I was thinking to upgrade my pledge to $100 tier, when the option were aviable, but we haven't seen any box art yet... Has Uber had any boxart concept at this moment?
That's a big "N. O." on that kraqen, unfortunately. (This is for everyone. ) And correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you unable to change pledge amounts now? I know you could a couple or so months ago, but as for now?
Unfortunately, that is correct. We had enabled upgrades up through the end of 2012, but announced at the start of December they'd end on December 31st.
It's wildly early for Box Art Concept at the moment, making the actual game takes priority at the moment! xD Mike
I tried to hire Maru but he was already booked. Our volunteer also agreed on cat food as viable payment!
Well looking at every other box art out there. Logically we need washed out picture of a beefy guy holding a gun scowling at something off to one side, while there is a low detail landscape in the background with a bit of fire.
I don't think that the Supcom boxart came out all that bad, but I did just have an interesting thought. Suppose the commander was moved further into the scene, in the distance. It would instantly seem a lot more epic, with the commander standing massively over the base he built. Or remove the commander entirely, and make it a minimalist piece, just showing armies, a landscape, and the sky in the distance, emphasizing the title.
You guys must be blind. They literally took in-game graphics then superimposed one photoshop still over it and called it their box art. Then there's that god-awful Games for Windows bar on top--remember, this was in 2007, a time when not that long ago it wasn't obligatory for all game box art to look fugly. The rest of the space is garish pure white, which is definitely a colour to inspire you a mentality of metal destruction and interplanetary conflict. I don't know why they didn't just stick with this:
I dont know, if I am in a small group but i liked it much,it often reminded me to TA So yeah I liked that much.
