The level 2 passive ability for the support class adds bot support aura - "Bot support aura adds a purple antenna to the top right of the backpack, and to all nearby bots increasing their damage and durability"

I've played around a bit with this in a few games, trying to see whether or not this actually has a noticeable effect. From what I can see, it doesn't seem to have any significant effect on your bot's attack/armour, even in the absence of enemy pros. Both team's bots simply stop and shoot for a good long while until a pro intervenes, without the aura seeming to give your bots any useful advantage over 'unbuffed' enemy bots.

I'm just wondering about other people's thoughts on this aura, and if anyone has actually noticed the bot support aura increasing the effectiveness of your bots. I'm also wondering if this is something that may possibly need a little tweaking to be useful.

I personally have never seen a noticeable difference. But then, I've never looked for one.

Honestly at passive lv 3, the 'boost' if I just let a red and blue group go at it equality ends with my side having maybe 2~3 bots all in deep red... overall it's barley if even accountable for, but then again I never looked into if the bonuses stacked from others or not. Honestly it's tiny, very VERY tiny indeed, but when you got the firebat, heal/hurt gun, and hacking, boosting your bots is more say extra fluff towards an already extremely solid class.

It def helps you push behind your bots through other bots, and it helps them act as a shield at lvl 2 and especially level 3. With lvl 3 and your HH you can push a group of bots through almost anything including a gunner unloading at full volume directly into them.

It takes some time to learn when/how to use it effectively, but once you do it can really turn the tide in games. It doesn't need to be tweaked imho to be useful, it's a great tool and has both helped me push onto the money ball when on offense and to defend incoming bots by ganging up with my bots when on defense.

I've never tried any tests with it but it's usually the last thing I get around to upgrading since I find little use for it.
