Re: Bomibing run from Unreal Tournament for MNC So it is some sort of capture the flag...i mean orb game?
Re: Bomibing run from Unreal Tournament for MNC yes. a goal on each side of the map with one ball in the center, toss the ball into the goal for 1 point or jump through the goal carrying the ball for 3 points also the the ability to pass the ball between teammates
How is that different than escorting your bots to the opposing teams money ball then shooting it? It seems unnecessarily the same game.
I played a ton of UT and I loved that game type. The major differences would be that most of the action would be in one area (around the ball), and I don't think there would be any bots. Kinda reminds me of Annex in Gears of War. Execution/Warzone had the action all over the map, but Annex had specific point on the map that was a total meat grinder. I'm in favor of this idea.
Yes, as most of the twelve players would be in one location on the map, instead of say 2 assassins pushing bot lanes, 1 sniper back in the spawn sniping, a tank destroying turrets, and 2 supports healing friendly turrets. Usually fights in this game are limited to 2v2 fests. "Bombing Run" would have most of the players in the same area, all shooting each other at the same time.
Hmmm, it also sounds like a kill death whore's paradise...But the goal is to get a "bomb" and take it to the opposing teams base?
Actually, if you have a good K/D ratio, you are doing something wrong (or the other team is awful). The main objective would be to get some kind of ball into the other team's goal. It works kinda like soccer in sense. Grab the ball, pass it between teammates, run to the other team's base, and shoot the ball into the goal to score. It would be a bit faster paced than Crossfire normally is and much more frantic.
