I have some critique for bombers.

In my experience with bombers, they often seem to fly over designated targets without dropping bombs. I consider air less and less, when it should be just as viable as tanks or bots to utilize your economy with.

I have tried to give them an adequate distance from their targets before sending them to attack, so that they can align better if they may need to, and this doesn't help either.

I did like the update to bombers which changed the way their attacks worked; a bombing run instead of a pin-point attack, and my gripe is not with that.

To me they seem like they have trouble recognizing targets, and I've experienced them circling a target without attacking at all.

Has anyone else noticed these issues?

    Yep.

They should just attack ground to be honest. (i.e. attack the area of ground that a unit is on, not the area specifically.

There's also an additional issue with splash damage that it does x amount of energy in y radius. When it should do x amount of damage to the center of an area, and have damage drop off.

I've always found that bombers are suicidal. You don't bother preserving them. You just spam them and send them off in waves.

Lots of known pathing issues with bombers, particularly Bumblebees.

Pathing is being constantly worked on.

Bumblebees are pretty much useless right now and Hornets are only valid because of their huge AOE.

T1 bombers are very terrible ATM. They need some kind of buff..AA towers shred them to bits & they can hardly do damage against anything. Hornets are the only viable air assault...
