I went positive just bomb jumping on lazer razor against relatively decent players. Whenever I play assault I usually don't go positive even with the armor rate acc class , but I went positive with this somehow. Maybe bomb jumping does have its uses besides ball Also , finishing players by bomb jumping at them from across the map had got me 5 kills in a PM tonight. I'm sure the better assaults could use this strat in more effective ways , after all , it does say in the how to play menu that the assault performs acrobatic kills ( or at least heavily implied ) . A way I can see this strat being effective is taking advantage of when you spawn and ally callouts on near death enemies. From spawn you can easily get to enemy spawn ( where near death players usually retreat to ) and finish off the player for an easy kill. Then you could retreat and do what you usually do.

Picking and choosing are we ? How about you actually read the entire post , especially the part where I say that better players can put it to better use.

This concept of "bomb jumping" seems very far fetched. I believe we talked to you last night about this but the idea of it just seems to crumble in real game situations. Team work is a heavy concept of pms, and using a bomb to accelerate your speed just destroys your health. Why would you hurt yourself for a momentary speed increase?

If you get a heal from the support right as the game starts and bomb jump from spawn to enemy spawn ( tested it out on every map except steelpeel today ) you can get one or two early game kills in the bag in the first 10 seconds. And the way that I do it LAUNCHES you so I don't know what that momentary speed increase is about. Maybe I could demonstrate this in a pub for people to see , but I do agree that it is only useful in certain situations.

The only build that effectively works with bomb jumping is
    Armor/Health/Skill
Even then your going to be outshot by everyone.

I use armor rate skill as mine and I only bomb jump to tap or to finish with that

that build is great for tossing bombs but the health recover will heal you as your in the air quicker
think it goes from 7 seconds to 4-5?

Thanks for the reply , I don't consider bomb jumping as something done frequently though. I was just testing out the spots and how fast the team would react in a PM

when the ball is down most players call out the assassin and assault.... its best to sneak up and tap from the sides or the sweet spots. Though most people know what im talking about theres ways to tap the ball from mid map and make it never go up. It has to do with the stars on the tiles and the bumpers around the outer edge of the maps.

bomb 3 and juiced grenade launcher is great against the moneyball and you also have the mobility of the assault to run away and come back to do more damage

Care to elaborate on these "sweet spots"? Also, I have no clue what the bumpers are on the edge of the map, nor do I know what the "stars on the tiles" are.

The "bumpers" are the little ledges along the edge of ammo mule. And you can bounce shurikens off of them from mid map to tap the ball. As for the stars they are a cosmetic detail found on the ground on ammo mule.

It took me a bit to understand what you guys were talking about. I see what you're saying now though. It's a trick that practically no sin's use as far as I know. It was one of the reasons I liked Snarf's assassin very early into the game. He was a pretty good bot pusher in general but if we ever got the ball down, he never let it back up. He knew spots to tap the ball from mid map on Ammo mule, Steel Peel and GIII. He could practically tap the ball on GIII from our spawn by bouncing it off the bumpers/gutters of the map.

I think getting the ball up can actually be a pretty easy thing if everyone is on the same page, but there's only been a few times in this game where I felt that has happened. Everyone seems to have a different opinion on getting the ball up. I think most finally realize now it's better to be full out aggressive than to wait and pick off whoever.

I showed you most of them... Ammo mule stars towards bot spawn left rail, spunky mid wall door or ejector to back wall, g3 can be done under glass by anni, steel peel from area of invisible ledge pillars middle to back spawn, lazor razor.... Nothing really except glass and walls.

I never play assassin too much to use them correctly. Also running larger clip could benefit.

Gc knows most of the spots and major and mechro...

Id have to take a picture for each map... Maybe if im off tomorow ill do it if i get rained out. Each map has a railing right near spawn which you can reflect shurikens as well as turret nubs. Theres not much to shoot at but if you deflect from an angle near bot spawn alleys you can deflect them to the ball.

Theres only been one pub player ive seen do it but cant remember who.. Ive shown a few people here.. Teapot, gc, mechro and major where they are. Im sure with the right build you can make it work better. Not sure if acc makes the shurikens stay longer.

Also the grenade launcher and mortars can be used in the same effect.. Mortars shot up in air can land at the ball and grenades can bounce like shirikens once to the ball on angles

Teach me the angles please , I would like to know anywhere I could increase my usefulness as an assassin in a PM.

its best to practice on your own and figure out what works best for you to shoot
