Blatant Racism against Assassins!

They have an inside xbox about killing assassins -.- and thats it. No tips FOR the assassins, just how to kill em.

Assassins don't need tips. If you don't just wake up one morning and clean house with nothing but your sword, shuriken launcher, and a form-fitting jumpsuit, you clearly aren't cut out for this job.

That's not racism. Just like how people who don't like muslims aren't racists. Seriously, look up the word and find out what it really means before using it.

I'm sure views against a religion is classed a racism but I could easily be wrong (haven't checked because using iPhone ;D) But yh I'm kinda peeved about tht as assassin has to be one of the hardest classes to be good at an the last thing tht class needs is more awareness. They should make a how to play assassin vid to counter it ;D

Racism is where something thinks lesser of, or even has hateful, discriminating, people of a certain racial creed, such as Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian e.t.c

A racist comment would be something like "Black people are dirty animals." Rascisim does NOT count being discriminative against some one for there religious views, nationality or they'r sexuality. Discrimination for country is Xenophobia, sexuality is Homophobia and I don't think there is a term for hate on religion either than just being a ****... For anything else it just classed as discriminative :|

This isn't really a worth while form of discrimination, why there is a thread about it I don't know... "I like orange but hate blue therefore i'm racist!" It's not discrimination if it isn't a living thing.. In fact the Assassin is a computer program. I think a better term for what you'r saying would be; IGN isn't giving balanced tips for the whole game and is only focussing on one class? But then again IGN gives terrible noob tips :x

Ign gives beginner tips anyway, stick to the forums if you want legit assassin tips.

like Zebra mentioned, IGN is catering to a broad crowd who's too busy playing Xbox and hitting on hot chicks to get on the game's official forum and actually get depth to their tips.

What StriderHoang meant to say is IGN caters to a crowd who're pretty sure that Monday Night Combat and Monday Night Football occupy the same timeslot. This is untrue mainly because Monday Night Combat occupies every timeslot.

Trust me...this isnt nearly as bad as when "inside xbox" decided to tell everyone how to warthog rush in Halo Wars...

They just give tips for killing assassins because they are a n00b class that get in the way of the real players actually fighting it out and using teamwork.

you sir are ignorant, an assassin playing his class the right way can be as valuable to a team as a gunner or assaukt can be.

Yeah, aiming that gunner's dual miniguns takes so much skill. Assassins take no skill at all.

What he says has some merit. While it certainly isn't easy using the Assassin, the benefits of having an Assassin on your team doesn't match the benefits of having a Gunner. Assassins and snipers take the place of more important classes. And yes, I do understand how quickly Assassins take out jackbots and black jacks.

Not always. During a protest of a Muslim Community Center in NYC a black man was accosted, pushed and people (and I use that term lightly to describe these closed minded bigots) were shouting "Get of here you Muslim" and other more colorful things. Turns out the guy was just a carpenter on his way to work. To a lot of ignorant people Muslim = dark complextion = terrorist.

Well, I have to agree that the lines between racism and religious discrimination are fading (the main reason is because several/most religions are associated with different ethnicities), but in theory they are both two seperate things in the category Discrimination.

A good example is the issue with religious symbols in schools that has been going on in my country for the past year. Last year, it was decided that muslim women were no longer allowed to wear their head cloths in school. The term 'racist' was flung around, because 99% of the muslims here are of North African descent. But that remaining 1% is caucasian. (I'm just throwing out random numbers around here, because I'm sure there's more diversity among the muslims.) So the word 'racism' would only be correctly used if the schools had said: 'All muslims except the caucasian ones have to remove their head cloth in school.'

My point is, the word 'racism' is used way too often (and in an incorrect manner) just to get things done your/their way. Nobody likes to have the label 'racist' pinned on them, and people are more inclined to give in to demands when they are threatened of being called a racist (which is basically what positive discrimination is).
