Hello! Just downloaded the game. When i click "play", in my steam library, the screen go black, for the game is opening, the mouse changes to the game's blue arrow but nothing happens. I can hear some sounds: I think it's the opening music and when I press some buttons too. The VGA driver is ok (gt 540m). So is the DirectX too. Tried the steps at some steam foruns, but i guess they are all from 2013... Tried even the "press F5 repeatedly" and nothing appears, but the soud keep playing... anyway, does anyone is having this problem yet? any fix? Tnx! and here is the Dxdiag file.
Your problem caused by outdated drivers. First update drivers for Intel HD3000: Code: Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.0GHz Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family Driver Date/Size: 11/29/2010 02:23:14, 7428608 bytes To update drivers download and install "win64_152822.exe" from Intel website: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23764 If you get "not validated for this computer" error download ZIP version of driver ("win64_152822.zip") from same page and then install it using this instruction: http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/2/558749190911446231/ Then for NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M. Download and install latest drivers from Nvidia website: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/75992/en-us Also by default game is running on slow integrated graphics so I recommend you configure your drivers to run it on Nvidia GPU.
