Btw, Black Ops is the FIRST CoD game ever that I've played. I've been playing its multiplayer for 2 to 3 weeks and there's way too many experienced hardcores (who probably have been playing CoD for 5 to 6 years) that kick my ***. There are no noobs/bad players (since I play in JPN servers) that I can play with who can help me to adapt to this game. Every time I search for a random lobby, I see at least 5 to 8 diehards who are at lvl 50 at the maximum prestiege and it's just god damn unplayable. Oh and I've also noticed that every gun can kill people under 3 seconds. I can already see that this game is not skill based unlike L4D nor MNC. It's a pretty good game though. So... Modern Warfare / Black Ops "experts", any tips on how to play better at this game? Please don't come up with something like "the only way to be good at playing is by playing" since I've already learned that back in my L4D/MNC days Σ(゚д゚lll)
CoD games are mainly about positioning/knowing where the enemy is/is going to be. The best way to get better is to play a lot.
With Call of Duty, you have to be able to predict where the spawns are and the spots where most players like to camp. Not only that, but you have to know the game as well. Know the maps, know the grenade spots, know the camping spots, know your weapon's strengths and limitations as well as be able to play to them and above all else, have a good reaction time and keep a fast pace. When you kill an enemy, you have to move quickly before the enemy team figures out where you are.
Better in terms of not getting grenade launchered every 5 seconds, but BO lacks the weapon balance. Any player regardless their skill level can do well using two weapons out of the whole game.
I can't catch up with the players on JPN servers. It's like playing MNC on your very first day against 6 Gunked(s) with Juice. Very hard. Makes me remind of my early MNC days. Wingman Master constantly kicked my *** with his juice.
F*cking A! This game is a piece of sh*t! I'm not a big fan of the whole "any gun can kill you under a second" crap. Call of Duty takes no skill at all! I'm still gonna buy BO 2 but for now, I'll stick with Halo 4.
Re: Black Ops 2 For those that have this game, is it good? For a certain Japanese person, is it better than Black Cocks?
Most of my friends say it's best and balanced Call of Duty ever. I don't know about that since I've only played 2 CoDs. I'm just waiting to get used to it. It seems that it has a learning curve. I've been getting cans of *** whoopings for the past 2 months. The whole "any gun can kill you under a second" stuff is just frustrating. I bought BO to showcase my shooting skills. Not for map control nor lucky kills.
