I can't be the only one who's been frustrated by the lack of a really epic sense of scale in RTS. Starcraft is the worst with its 'Battlecruisers' as big as 5 zerglings.... Supcom at least tried but it's not enough. The main advantage of indie games is they can innovate more, and 'wow' players with new gameplay to make up for cheaper graphics. One way to innovate is to have truly f'in enormous units in an RTS. So how far can we push it? With this engine and these computers? I want robots so big they make your low-level troops look like ants. And then I want robots that can crush those robots under the tip of their toes. I want units bigger than planets, units that require the disassembly of entire worlds just to build. I want the Death Star. I want Unicron. I want the proportion between the smallest and the biggest unit to be like in EVE Online. Who's with me?
