Howdy Yall. I dont do alot of forum posting so hopefully Im putting this in the right area. I just recently bought PA and tired it out. Seems really interesting. To get to the point. What Im posting about is support for Big Screens. ATM when I load the game it starts off windowed mode. I can click to max window mode. I didnt notice any settings for Big Screen Fullscreen. Yall may already have plans to add that after alpha or somtin. If not. Id though I would make a post about it. I have come across alot of games and whatnot that support big screens and that dont. The biggest problem I have whether the game supports big screens or not. Is the Text. It can be hard to read. There are somthings I would have to turn my DPI up to 150-175 to be able to read the text. Even when I do have my dpi turned up. It doesnt always effect the text or may not even effect the game. Then the in game settings may have options to assist with big screen support. Turning those options on useally makes the depth better and re-sizes the menus/hud. But the text is not really effected in most cases. So alot of times I just end up missing out on what text says for I wont read it unless I get up off my sofa. Lets face it. Im a gamer. Getting up off the sofa isnt an option... lol Screen Sizes I tend to play on. 50 to 60 inch TVs 1920:1080 resolution. Thanks Yall Omega
Another vote for an option to enlarge the GUI text. Ive solved that problem long ago by getting a FullHD Beamer but when stepping up to 4k in some time text will become too small again. Else I have to tear down some walls and parts of the ceiling to get a larger picture . On the other hand, setting a lower Res. in Windows does help, even though it removes the ability to brag about playing stuff on 4K.
I'd like to second support for large screen TVs. I'd love to have my 46" as the 'main screen', and 2-3 smaller monitors for individual planet views. Larger text would make things much more legible, or some sort of 'HDTV' mode. I suppose it could be modded in, too.
