Beta Build: 57164 A number of server browser fixes; should see a lot fewer empty/abandoned lobbies. Please post on forums if you're still seeing lots of empty lobbies. Some fixes for planet smash failing to smash. There were a couple scenarios where you could engage an asteroid, but it would never do anything. Hopefully most of these are fixed now. FX playing is still hard on most systems and connections. We're working on it! Orbital units given appropriate vision in the orbital layer. Should result in smarter behavior where orbital units interact with each other. AIs now append (AI) to their name
Is this why the # of available servers seems limited? (Don't think I've ever actually logged in during a server update)

Do AI's need a name? I miss AI 1. We had such a great relationship. He stole my colour, I nuked his base, he raided my mexes, I dropped deathballs on his power gens. Now there's just this myriad of random AI's, and I never get the satisfaction of beating the same one again and again. I mean I know it's the same code. But AI with a name feels so impersonal End tongue in cheek. Also I love how everytime I think "Hmm... I guess it will be a few more days until the new build", I log into PA and have a new build to play.
Oh wow - I just re-read the patch notes detail on the upper right corner of the game screen (main menu) - the patch notes are from the future! (I'm in the US, EST, I'm guessing the date of the patch notes being referenced is elsewhere).
They aren't playable, but have been in the game files for a while now. @garat, the build process is still causing minor changes to most .papa files (260 files), resulting in them being re-downloaded every build.
Unfortunately, at this time, there's not a lot we can do about that. We'll have to re-architect our entire build process to change that. Because of how we do builds, to guarantee clean builds each time, I think it's generating new CRC's of the files.
Still having this issue in the new build. Anyone else? Did I just totally forget the hotkeys for the camera,in which case, how do you control it?
Why not switch to using a delta update instead of full files. This would allow for your build system to remain in tacted and allow for much smaller updates being downloaded.
Press Ctrl+m and use wasd,r,f to move. Press mousescroll to look around while moving. If you hit space you can only look around (and not move). Snierke
Is this only happening to me? i cant see my build queue or where the units is going On top that i would like a better pathfinding system because my units get stuck sometimes.
I am sorry, I don't understand. I just received an email today to invite me to play Beta. But when I launch the game, I have to move around the planet all the time in order to play. To scout the map, it is very boring. I have radars and I don't see what my ennemy do because I can't see the entire map on my screen. What is the point of a radar so? Is it normal? I don't find the key to see the entire map and move my units around the planet quickly. Can you help me please?
Radar lets units fire automatically at the blips. This is extremely important for units like the Pelter, which can fire a lot further than it can see. Note that if your energy is in the red, your radar may shut off and you will not see any blips and your units will only be able to shoot at things that have been uncovered by direct line of sight.
