What techniques do you use for finding the enemy? Is it just a case of sending a scout plane on a random trek over the planet or are there any other tips?

Scout planes, Fireflies, are normally the best way to scout, yes – do to their speed and large sight radius.

The first thing you want to do is send it out in a spiral motion around your base. You want to make sure you aren't near an opponent. Then send the scout to the major metal clumps – they're likely at the clumps rather than in the middle of an area with no metal. All else fails, send them on a systematic pattern across the planet.

    That's the core tricks.
