Best Solo Carry?

    What is the best solo carry class in terms of guaranteeing a win in any random server you may join? I'm not talking about games you just drag out till overtime and then nuke the ball down with your assault, I'm talking about pushing and downing the moneyball, ensuring there IS no overtime.

    My current vote is actually the gunner.

    -High health
    -Only class that can reliably break high level healed turrets at range.
    -Outstanding and reliable close/midrange slayer
    -Decent long range area denial
    -Decent bot killing at range
    -Decent Juice building at range
    -Really only NEEDS to upgrade passive before spending the rest of his cash on juice

    Ranked in order of ability to solo carry:

    -Gunner
    -Tank
    -Assassin/Assault
    -Sniper/Support

    I voted tank because he can down turrets fairly easily with juice and he does the most important part of a push amazingly. Kill bots.

    Assassins and Tanks are the two big botkillers of the game and with the juice nerf the assassin is no longer the lead carry as she can't down turrets nearly as easily.

    In a random pub game? The assassin, as she can push bots extremely quickly and down turrets just as fast with juice. The Tank is also good at this, and can hit turrets with his product grenade. The assault is a good all-rounder that can deal with any other good players well. Honestly, the only ones that can't push solo is the Support, who can do some stuff with his firebase, airstrikes, and juice but can get shut down really easy. The Sniper can kinda do stuff with his flak, but he gets beaten out by a single base support.

    Gunner, tank, and assault all work for me. I guess gunner is the most sure thing because the others can be foiled if the whole enemy team is building rockits constantly

    i vote assault just coz that's the class i got carried by the most. (if you don't classify OT juice rush as carry lol)

    I could certainly see the arguments for tank, but the assassin is virtually shut down by a single over-healed level 3 in my experience. (Tanks too if their juice run does not go perfectly.)

    I vote sniper.

    I don't know how many times I joined in a late sniper a won because I made it so the enemy team couldn't get anywhere near our base. If a good sniper is on a pub team the area denial they have is tremendous.

    Whenever I get annoying assassin's in my base i'll just put up a shavice turret level 3 and they get pretty gimped.

    Honestly, i can't really say i've seen any sniper (not even the prolific ones like Tibolan) carry a team. They certainly help, but you need some other competent players to break a base.

    I voted gunner, when it comes to getting multiple lvl3 overhealed turrets fast there is no other class that can compare.

    Even without juice a gunner can cause net damage to a turret while its even being actively healed.
    Mortar can push the bot lanes extremely well, and the mini can take care of most pros quickly.

    Also because his skills are crap there is extra money for buying juice or additional turrets.

    gunner, but if the opposing team has a half decent sniper the dream is over.

    I'd put Assault and Gunner on the same tier. So long as your own base isn't flooding with bots already, both these classes can carry a team in their own ways.

    Gunner can carry a team due to his role as a battering ram and a very good slayer. His sheer offensive might can crush heavily fortified bases without juice, with juice = "OMFG, turrets are gone!!!"

    Assault is also able to carry a team due to his extreme versatility, and mobility and high moneyball damage. Assault is a Jack of all trades, yet master of mobility, proving to be an exceptionally deadly combination. With some micromanagement, an Assault can be duking it out with a Tank one one side of the map one minute, to fighting alongside his teammates on the other side of the map 20 seconds later from the high ground. Bombs also provide a form of area denial as well as a powerful offensive tool.

    Now, an Assault, and a Gunner working in perfect synch, one is the infantry, the other the battering ram. That would be terror in the arena.
