seriously needs a readily available mute function, and an audio volume slider for inbound mic chatter. our team just had to put up with some kid named Loius-something or other. While this kid wasnt horrible, he was HORRIBLE TO PLAY WITH. This kid was chattier than F-ing micky cantor, and when his mic gave out.....GOOD GOD. mic spam through a broken mic the whole freaking game, lost it for us, and caused us to rage. While i know its ultimately this arrogant trolls fault, it'd be REALLLLLLLLY appreciated if you guys extended us common PC game features like that so we could DO something about it. Hell, why not add a kick vote option on top of that? Pretty sure we would of unanimously got rid of the kid on the spot!
I really only agree with the kick vote. Kick vote makes gameplay much more enjoyable, because you can weed out the obvious idiots.
Meh, only the administrator of the server should be capable of kicking people. Vote kicks leads to those actually carrying the entire team getting godly scores to get weed out by the newbies instead of the bad ones, and you shouldn't weed out the bad ones just because they don't know how to play YET... Put up with it for a while, learn to enjoy losing and winning all the same and it won't bother you anymore. As for mute option: HELL YES!!! DO THIS! DO THIS NOW!!! WE NEED IT!!! I SWEAR I CAN'T STAND 10 YEAR OLDS TRYING TO SPEAK ENGLISH IT DRIVES MY MIND INSANE!!!!!!!!!! It caused me to rape the caps lock button and write the above! That's how bad it is! :evil:
no. no. no. no. no. no. nooooo. some groups like to be arses with the vote-kick option. sucked in halo, sucks here. if someone is annoying, mute them. if someone breaks the spirit of the game in his playstyle (teamhamper, enemyassist, troll, ect), there are servers with admins. if you wana kick someone for spite, you dont need a vote-kick. saying you were going to kick that kid is proof enough. why should he suffer because you cant tell the difference between a mute-able offence and a kick-able offence.
