Hello, I'm new to this game. After a lot of hassle with the servers, ports and routers I actually got into some, yay. There seems to be some balancing issues when it comes to assassins, where I stab the enemy assassin in the face, he survives and then he stabs me, and I die? I tried some other classes and I have no chance against assassins because I die with one stab, I think it should be harder to assassins to stab people or just reduce their damage so they only damage 50% of your life. But giving them a chance to run away, maybe some sort of disort stun for 1-3 seconds after the attack. Also there's people over level 30 (I think, I have no idea where to really see their level), how is that even possible? The game has been out for one day! The tutorial doesn't explain everything either, I have no idea what the boots icon is or how I can improve my dagger if I'm playing assassin. (seen people with a sword instead) The money you get during the game needs to be increased, I'm usually only having trouble finding money I can use to build towers.
Assassins are pretty ruff at first i will admit that much. Once you unlock a custom class you can choose your endorsements. Most people will take gold or silver armor to counter assassins grapple from the front. You can't do anything about the attacks from behind though. Also once you hear the sound of assassins its hard to forget what they sound like and it gets easier. As for the swords that happens when you upgrade assassin to level 3. Your dagger becomes a sword which does much more damage. hope that helps.
Armour; you need to equip some. A fully upgraded Tank with Silver armour should be able to survive a back stab from an Assassin. People love this game, and they have just played it a fair bit. Getting to level 30 is easy. More importantly, being a higher level doesn't make you a strong or better player. A level 1 player who knows what he is doing can happily square-off with someone level 30, or level 60. Fair point. It takes a little bit of observation to pick up the finer details of the game. You should be able to see more in-depth points in the Locker Room from the main menu. Heavens no! There's plenty of money to be had. That said, I think you've made a mistake in playing Assassin. Try Tank or Gunner. Assault is a good start too. What you need to realise is that Assassin isn't really an assassin at all - she is usually terrible at killing Pros. Where she excels is killing bots and pushing along a lane.
If you got to the "How to Play" section it explains a lot. you should try some Blitz matches until you get a handle of each Pro and what they can and cannot do. Knowing the enemy is half the battle. You'll also earn plenty of money to unlock some custom classes. As for the rest just give it time and it will all change. Default classes are really bad against good players. Also your level is only based off of your Lifetime earnings, not rank, skill, or even time played. The "rank" can be leveled up in both Blitz and Crossfire and is the same rank throughout the whole game.
After all this time they still appear in the XBox section so get ready for a looooong road. Just don't be like me and try to read them all.
