Bad internet

    I recently moved into an apartment and the internet has been a real POS. Look at it:

    Get in touch with your provider and tell them you're not happy. There could be a fault with your line. They can put limits on your up/download as well. When I got in touch with mine they guaranteed me 27mb download after I threatened to change provider. A few hours later it kicked in. It's amazing how helpful they can be when they could lose your custom.

    Being experienced in slow as **** internet, I would say that it would be best to go bitch your ISP, and don't believe their **** about how restarting your modem will fix anything.
    Or switch ISPs, that's usually the best option.
    Charter should be giving a lot faster speeds than what you're getting, it's likely on their side or something of the sort.

    Good god...

    How long does it take just to load the home page?

    Bad news is, in our area we can't really switch to another ISP since Charter is our only choice.

    Only a few seconds.
    Where I lack in Inetenet speed I make up for in other computer specs, Chrome also helps.

    I played games competitively with 1.5/0.25 for years.

    Upgraded recently. Yes I can stream, but still.

    As long as my ping is that high, higher then that on uber servers mind you, the rest of those numbers mean jack in terms of gameplay. Btw Comcast is BS, terrible ISP in California. If you have any other option avoid them at all costs. I have stories.
