I know you've seen it before. Someone pulls host and goes afk and, as a result, never gets kicked from the game (in fact, I'm doing it as I type this). I love not having lag and my connection is actually good so others don't lag as much either, so me being the host is not a bad thing. That's why I want to keep it, so when I have to do other things, I simply go afk. But when people do this, it puts their team at a huge disadvantage. In short, I think there should be an auto-kick even for hosts and then make it automatically migrate the host. What do you think?
I dont know....If the host migration isnt improved I would rather have an afk host than to have a failed host migration.
i think host migration would be smoother for someone who is afk-kicked, than someone who rages and turns off the xbox power without clicking to exit the game first (leaving nothing for the game to migrate from)
I would support this movement. As, if you ever keep track of the top weekly earners, somebody with zero skill, that goes by the name of Bonedust (with an x or two somewhere in there) is always at the top somewhere. If you call him out on it (trying to freeload thousands of cash without touching a controller) and talk enough smack, he may eventually appear, and fail at the game for a game or two, then poof, he becomes gone again. It sucks, because he has the jackbot All-Star symbol, and he plays like a new level 25 player. I don't know how many of the people in the upper echelon of MNC do this, but I have seen it fairly often recently, and it definitely sucks to be at a disadvantage the whole game due to somebody freeloading for cash. I understand if you are the host and you have to let your dog outside, or grab something from the oven, we're all people, and some of us are grown ups. But to leave a game on with the intentions of exploiting your team for status gain within the game is kind of low.
