I used to run League of Legends at 110-130 FPS when idling and still like 60+ when teamfighting. All of a sudden my computer just started taking a **** on me and now it's 20-50 when idling (yes, jumps a lot) and 1-15 when teamfighting. IT'S REALLY ANNOYING, I literally can't even teamfight properly. One teamfight was so terrible as Ryze that I got ONE Q and ONE W off the ENTIRE teamfight, because my button presses weren't even registering. I've tried defragmenting, didn't do anything. I've tried full virus scans with 3 different virus scanners, none found anything. I've tried reinstalling, fixed nothing. I've tried uninstalling programs I don't use anymore, still lag. Tried running CCleaner, didn't fix anything. My Task Manager says LoLClient takes like 300MB of RAM and when I'm running LoL it's like 900MB. Is that right? Seems ridiculous. Anything I can post to try to figure out what the hell is happening? My PC specs are AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor, 4GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 SE card
How is the CPU percentage while playing? Do you have enough RAM while playing? Is the GPU too hot? Did you change some in-game settings? Did the drivers for the GPU change? Could be a lot of things.
I figured it out. Opened my hardware settings and I guess something I installed set my computer to "High Power Saving Mode". I thought only laptops had that **** god that was awful
You don't know LoL until you play 15 FPS all day erryday on this 5 year old ****-box office computer I use.
