Not sure how a sniper trap can be destroyed by a flak or explosive, and something that is already explosive can not also be destroyed in the same manner. Hate when Assaults fly in to the spawn area, and leave bombs outside the entrance. You have no choice but to walk out and get blown up even when you are staring right at it, when they have all the exits camped.
I second the vote to make them destroyable by explosive means. I fully support that they shouldn't be able to be shot with normal weapons since they are not covert weapons by any means, but an explosive should be able to set off another explosive.
I agree with bronco. There has to be some way other than baiting a camping assault into early detonation to break his perch. I know they only get one vs 3 traps, but they recharge quick enough and explosives are using a skill to get rid of it. Kind of balanced. Better than it is now I guess.
Yeah they really need to fix it. Everything else is destructible even now your own team can detonate your own traps so it should be the same for those stupid bombs.
To be completely honest I think the bombs should be able to be destroyed by ANY projectile weapon. The current condition leaves 1 and ONLY 1 class unable to do it. Assaults can use their bombs. Gunners can use their mortars. Tanks can use their product grenade. Supports can use their airstrikes. Snipers can use their flak. ... Assassins can give it a mean look.
I agree with this, but I'd change 'ANY projectile weapon' to 'ANY projectile weapon except for shurikens'.
Then you get that problem where an assault chucks a bomb, and mid air it hits something like flak and explodes killing some random assassin or the assault himself I think its fine the way it is. Annoying yes, but its fine.
