Assistance Required

HELP!!

While playing in Glatic war, the last AI commanders buggered off to another plant in the system through his teleporter, which i subsquently distroyed (If I did wrong, oops). How can I get a unit to another planet I have built a teloprted but I'm not 100% on how it works.

Any advice would be greatfully appreciated.

Select one teleporter - while you have it selected, right click on the other. That should link them.
