Assaults Charge lacks priority

    I've been playing Assault and I've noticed that his charge can get interrupted a lot.
    I can understand being knocked back by a tanks charge because hes heavier but I will not stand for being grappled out of a charge.

    It's not just once or twice, it's happened quite a lot. The person grappling me wont be hurt or knocked back and I will instead have the cooldown and half my health lost to show for it.
    I thought if you were charging you were supposed to be invincible and just be a charging block of damage knocking back all who dare to be near. This has happened at all points of the charge, normally half way through it.

    The other time I've noticed today is that the assaults level 3 charge will not grab an Assassin using Smoke Bomb. I can't tell if they get the 300 damage from the charge or not but 4 out of 4 times, they threw the bomb down as the assault charges in place against her.
    This really shouldn't be if an Assassin can be grappled by other Assassins while doing it. I don't know about other classes grappling during this time or not but it seems wrong that two characters have different results.

    Being grappled out of a charge is intended. The Assassin's smoke bomb can also stop a charge and is intended as well.

    Thing is it's supposed to be a small window of when it can happen, since the patch that originally broke grapples, that window is much larger
    I haven't been getting teleported as badly as it used to be, but I'm still getting teleported 5-10ft

    I also have to wonder if getting slashed(see: killed) out of a charge is intentional

    What's really annoying is when you hit with the knockback, but they still manage to grab you after being hit by the charge

    Also the very inconsistent knockback. Sometimes people go FLYING off the map, and sometimes they just pop straight up and land on your head (even assassins. especially assassins.)

    Consistency is probably the one big plus about Charge 3.

    It lacks priority because it lacks effort to do it.

    i don't know about that..

    you do big damage if you connect the grab, but practically nothing if you or the target is in the air

    Wow I don't think this complaint is justified. 9 times out of 10 my charge takes priority over a Sin and just about every one else. when i run into someone that knows what they are doing 9 times out of 10 they grapple after I charge and miss (hardly ever) or Sins get me in the back, and your for sure not invincible. I suppose you want your charge to instant kill by touch or what? Or do you just want god mode? I consider myself a decent player (around 40/30/10 $9k+ a little less than half of my rounds). I for sure think that the assaults charge is the easiest to execute, snipers may be easier but i never want to be that close ;) I often think a grapple should be guarenteed with the assasin because they are a melee class but then I think that that would make them to powerful, but if the have priority.... oh wait. I think the only thing wrong with a grapple is when two assaults charge each other they should bounce off each other or something. Other than that, grapple priority is perfect the way it is.

    I also want to add that I believe all classes need to prioritize Pros over bots for grapple, with the exception of the Jackbot. There is nothing that I hate more than chasing after someone just to charge and grapple a bot that they are standing on.
