hello, this guide will hopefully help new assassins get a foot hold in the game.
this is just how I play, it might not be perfect but it works.

    --------------------------------ENDORSEMENTS------------------------------------

GOLD: armor(so that you can withstand other grapples and shots)
SILVER:critical shot(your grapple attacks will do substantial damage)
BRONZE: either speed, reloading, or skill recovery(your choice, depends on how you play)

    ----------------------------ASSASSINS ROLE--------------------------------------

usually I play as support(pushing bots up the ally, clearing the ally, etc.)
also you should take out turrets from afar with shurikens. these are also effective at destroying fire bases, most of the time you can do more damage than a support can heal.

occasionally when I see an open target pro, I check and see if there is anybody around, if not I sneak up cloaked and kill. afterwords you need to get away quickly, using sprint lunge and smoke jump.

    ---------------------EFFECTIVELY USING WEAPONS--------------------------------

the dagger is the basic weapon and should be upgraded to katana as soon as possible!!!!

when taking out turrets, it is smart to smoke, then fly. what that means is you use a smoke bomb, temporarily disabling them and hold down right trigger to butterfly your dagger and they should be either destroyed or very close when the smoke wears off.

the lunge is very useful when taking out large groups of jackbots whenever you get the chance lunge into a group of jackbots and butterfly the rest of the surviving ones.

taking out opposing pros is as easy as 1-2-3
    first you should lunge
second grapple, and if this doesnt kill them, then you can either choose to lunge again( harder at close range) or butterfly kill them.

    taking out money ball
this is where I enjoy the assassin the most,
to take out the money ball I always go to one of the side routes avoiding mainstream bots and pros who go out the front door, If there is a back, use it ;)
now go into the side and if the money balls shields are down use shurikens from afar to do substantial damage, and once you see the coast is clear run in and start butterflying the ball.

you should have a reasonable amount of juice, if not full.
unleash once full and go to town!!!!!!
if you are killed before it is destroyed, which is highly unlikely if done correctly the just go back and repeat.

and words of wisdom, upgrade passive 3 as soon as possible!!!!!

    ---------------------------------------LEVELING------------------------------------

if you are trying to destroy the money ball asap then here is the order of which you should upgrade

    1: sprint and passive
    2:cloak
    3:smoke
    4:passive
    5:sprint
    6:cloak
    7:smoke

if you are trying to get kills then it should go like this

    1: sprint passive
    2:smoke
    3:cloak
    4:passive
    5:cloak
    6:smoke
    7: sprint

the first upgrade is the most important, if you play it right, then you should be able to get fully upgraded in no time at all!

good luck to all assassins and have fun, remember this is just a game and you should never take it too seriously have fun!!! :D

yes, pleasse do not attempt to butterfly or lunge jackbots... pain and death result for the assassin.

and i find the dagger is sufficient to upgrade passive until last. you wana melee bots with the joystick button melee for juice anyway. and pros usually die from a grapple from the front if you lunge first. but dont lunge directly in front, your camoflagued not invisible.

and please use shurigens. those throwing stars are so good i have a class with rate of fire and clip size, so i can come out of a cloak and get automatic criticals with stars. they do as much damage as a mortar, almost as fast. kill a stationary pro without getting close enough to hum them a lullaby, cuz that lullaby you hum will be putting you to sleep in the end.

Um.... if you're trying to grapple a Jackbot you're doing it wrong. NEVER grapple a Jackbot.
