So, I´ve been lately messing up with a game of my childhood called American conquest. There is a tremendously big and good mod for that game called, Hawk´s European Warfare, this is a complete overhaul that I would love to play....BUT. The game is old, really old, and while the main game can be played through the compatibility mode in Windows xp just fine, the mod, did change the main executable and it is incompatible with any windows above vista. I recurr to you, wise people of the internet for help to solve that problem. I have 0 idea of how to do anything with it, and I was hoping someone with actual knowledge, could give me a hand in the task. Pleasy
i was gonne suggest wine. then you're basically in a virtual machine and youi can change the OS version on the fly
