So does the armor endorsement give damage reduction or more health?

i would assume more armor based on which level it is at. changing the damage of each weapon based on who it hits could lead to more bugs than just adding health

If armor is a +health effect it could possibly be tied to the juice healing bug.

I would have put this on Hudson's thread but it was locked by the time I saw it.

we could try juicing with a class that does not have armor on and see if the glitch happens

Armour Endorsement depending on class and level allows you to receive more damage before you die, so its both really armour/+ health. I use GobiNumb (Gold Endorsement) on my gunner/tank class and it makes them almost invincible. (will not stop a grapple kill for Assassin with the sword and a sniper can headshot me if I'm not deployed).

first off, it makes your max health higher. lets say a support starts at 300 (the actual values for class starting armor, passives, and endorsements armor are on wikia, but im too lazy right now). with his passive at 3, he has a max of 350. with bronze armor, he has 375, with silver he has 400, and gold he has 450.

sounds unlikely to be it, as it happens in the middle of juicing, not after juicing or right when juicing (your supposed to go to full health right when you juice, right lol?)

juicing, could pressing the juice button while your juiced be the glitch, as the game things your entering juice and is giving you full health as such?

meh, they might already know whats causing it if they say they are fixing it in an update, so just meh.

The armor endorsement adds max health, it does not do damage modification.

There are subtle differences between max health and damage mod and in the case of endorsements, max health is the more correct choice. Whereas things like the Support Aura or either Deploy, damage mod is the correct choice.

The numbers on the wiki are a bit off. I don't like posting actual numbers, sorry.

Why not? Eventually someone is going to take the time to figure it out exactly, why not save them the trouble?

Exact numbers means we, the players, would know the exact amounts and this having most people use "the best" because they know exactly what it does. If people decide to take the time out and figure the exacts more power to them.

The basic reason is this, if I post exact numbers I have to spend more time explaining and defending them on the forums rather than working on more updates. ;)

Real official numbers are a scary thing to release to the public. Often numbers don't mean what people think they mean, the way numbers are used in the actual systems can be very complex.

Lets say someone's attack does 70 damage, and a class has 100 health. The expectation is that two shots will kill that player. But that doesn't take in to account things like if the shot can crit, how frequently it crits, how much more damage does it do on crit, does it have damage fall off, travel time, accuracy penalties, or if the other player has an armor bonus or health increase. This isn't even the full list our game deals with with every shot. Someone invariably runs with the numbers complaining that they shot someone twice and they didn't die, or they only got shot once and did die.

Sure people will figure out much of this on their own given enough time, or at least figure out enough to get close, but if things don't quite work out the way the numbers they've estimated work out they accept that they don't have the full story. When real numbers get released it becomes a point of contention that people will point back to.

Another few questions if I may: Is a headshot an automatic critical hit or does it do its own amount of damage? Can you get a critical headshot?

Its got its own modifier and yes you can crit. So you can crit and headshot giving you even more damage. Granted, since headshots usually kill in one shot anyway there are very few instances where you'll see a difference.

A large reason for me to go Gold or Silver Armor as a tank is to survive a headshot. Kinda stinks to know I can still get killed by one.

Hmm, this hasn't ever been a problem for a game like call of duty though...

Call of Duty released their balance numbers? Link! I'd love to see them.
