Awesome! I'm hoping that the development team has plans to create some kind of "snap" system for buildings and nodes/coastal areas to help us design our bases better.
i proposed earlier to have a system where workers automatically make them where ever they can when told just to get rid of that little bit more of micro
We plan to make them quick snap. Having to hunt for metal spots, not a particularly fun game mechanic when you just want to place a few quickly.
They also should be clearly visible from high above. Currently some of them hide beneath trees so good that it might increase my level of play to downgrade my gfx drivers so that trees are no longer displayed :lol:
Indeed it took me a while to realize (it took a small bunch of builds) that opponents were spawning mass extractors everywhere while i was putting mine on these locations :mrgreen:
I agree with cola and knight. Nice. Any chance we'll get an area command for capping MEX like Spring? I'm imaging that's the first thing you'd want to do when you get to an unoccupied moon/planet.
Quick snapping will probably be especially useful in deep water since you can't even see the metal deposits down there.
