No, April Fools Day was officially banned by the government. You are now a fugitive.

I heard that most games, on this day, have a secret easter egg if you press alt+F4 during the game.

Yeah they changed it from the control-H that it used to be in the old days on BBS's.

You can also unlock a secret bonus level in many games!
Hold CTRL+Shift+Esc and then quickly press Alt+E

Windows key+L is usually a money cheat.

Oh, and another nice thing to improve your relationship with your coworkers (might only work on XP):

Find an unlocked PC, take a screenshot of the desktop. Set the image as desktop background picture, display mode Tile. The background should look exactly like the desktop if possible.
Right-click on the desktop -> Arrange Icons By
    untick: Show desktop Icons

Watch hilarity ensue when your coworker returns... :)

I like the putting of a piece of scotch tape over the light on a mouse.

We still have mice with balls, which I like to remove, or just unplug.

I wonder what I can do with the hardware manager. Maybe disable the DVD drive or the card reader. It's great fun to play around with the permissions in the security settings of Windows too.

Oh, something useful for a change: I revoked the right to execute the avnotify.exe of Avira for the user SYSTEM: no advertisement pop-up after updates anymore! :p
Great if you like to play online without nasty surprises sponsored by your anti-virus...

Loosening the network cable is a fun one too...but then no one can use source control and merging goes bye-bye >_>

I find it funny when you put tape on the bottom of a person's mouse and they don't notice (on laser mice)

this is since it reads the tape and not the surface it is on

Nyx have you seen the gamer community? There is no "taking it there"...it kinda just goes there automatically. There is no other option.

Oh, I know ;) tis why I <3 gamers, I don't offend them like I do everyone else. I've been known to take things pretty far just for fun with norms.

I've seen more April fools jokes around on the internet than any time before. On my favourite tech site, they went over to 1337-text (fun for some moments, but luckily you can turn it off).

And with something added to the link, we could drop lemmings on the page, that would break it down from the top :p

Youtube had it's TEXTp format, which is a new standard, aside to 1080p

xkcd refurbished the site to unix, had to type in the codes in order to get some comics, or hilarity. (I tried 'ping' and got information about a submarine being 150 miles away from me)
