is there anyway to turn off the crowd noise? like in the inis or messing around with any files or anything, just i play whilst listening to my own music and the crowd noise really sounds horrible, if it wasnt the need for listening out for sins i would just turn off all sound but unfortunately listening for them is too important, thanks
you know, ive wondered the same thing. I dont care much for the random noises in the game. Noises i want to hear: Sins cloak Air strike Bombs Overtime Laser Fun Ball being ready Essentially things that can kill me, and a few map events. Wish there was a way to just play these.
Heck, even the ability to turn down the misc. audio like that would be nice. I personally wouldn't turn it off because I like to get the full feel of audio when playing my games. I know I have been killed a few times because I couldn't hear the sin over the crowd.
And the sins cloak sound is probably at the level it is for a good reason. Loud enough to be heard - not loud enough to be obvious. That kind of thing is why TF2 servers have the "pure" tag. Stops people replacing the spy decloak sound with an alarm saying "SOMEONE SNUCK UP ON YOU, YOU INATTENTIVE DUMMY" Personally i like the atmosphere created by the background sounds. It adds to the illusion you are actually a player in some kind of deadly sporting event.
I like it, but I like my music more. As the game is now, I really can't listen to music because hearing sins airstrikes bombs and basically the stuff that other guy listed above is too important. If I could turn crowd and mickey canter off it would be great, because I could just play my music at a volume where I can still hear important game sounds.
The only thing I want is for Mikey Cantor to shut the hell up about upgrading my skills. I know I have the money for skills. I don't want to buy those skills so you can shut up about my Mom calling you instead of telling me when the annihilator is ready. I can't count the amount of times he's said my skills needed upgrading instead of something important.
Especially since i don't upgrade to Dash 3 or Smoke 2.. or 3. Far be it from US to tell HIM that we don't need to upgrade our skills.
yes turning off Mickey Cantor would be a godsend, but i care more about the crowd ruining my hardstyle though
