    List of shared skills:

    Gunner/Tank: Deploy
    Gunner/Sniper: Grapple
    Tank/Assault: Charge

    I dunno about you guys, but I can't help but wish that the Gunner had something else instead of Grapple as his red skill. I rarely use it because I'm usually far away from my enemies with my minigun, and when they do get close, it's simply more effective to just use slam rather than try to line up a grapple.

    Well I feel like the Gunner - Tank do the same thing (fulfill the "tank" role e.g. High armor) So they are redundant, but I don't mind it really.

    I don't think the Gunner and Tank necessarily do the same thing. The Gunner is more like heavy long-ranged damage, while the Tank is "I'm in your face now, you're dead". The Tank can also take a lot more punishment than the Gunner from what I've seen.

    Grapple is a necessary skill. I think adding an extra skill or two and being able to replace the grapple would be cool though.

    5 skill limit, 3 skills in play.

    He still has the grapple on the secondary fire of his mortar, though. I'm kinda confused why he needs it as a skill as well. =/

    The same sorta goes for the Sniper, but in his case, he has to have it because he has no other close-range weapon. The Gunner has Slam.

    Would you wanna switch weapons just to grapple? We as Assault players kinda have to, unless our Assault is level 3, that's when you get Shoryuken'd.

    Idk, it just feels like as long as you have a reliable close range skill, you don't need a fast grapple. Tank, Support, and Assault don't have fast grapples, but Tank has his death lotus, Support has his auto-locking healgun/firebase, and Assault has a good escape mechanism, so he can just charge away and continue firing from afar, or he could just charge into the other guy and ring him out. On Gunner, the grapple seems redundant.

    The assault does have a grapple, I can really hold a discussion with you on the other classes though...I only play Assault.

    Yeah, I know he does. Every class does. But the Assault's is not a fast grapple. What I mean by that is that it isn't a skill or a primary weapon, For example, I consider the Sniper and Gunner to have fast grapples because they have Grapple as a skill, and I consider Assassin to have a fast grapple because she has it as a primary weapon.

    The point I'm trying to make is that fast grapple on the Gunner seems redundant because of his Slam ability.

    Grapple= 1 Opponent
    Slam= Multiple.

    Also, can't the Slam damage bots? Some bots can't be grappled, so I'm pretty sure Slam is a useful skill.

    They have different uses, but yeah I see your point.

    The Gunners grapple would be better off replaced. Slam is simply much more effective in close combat.

    As for whoever said Assault lacks a fast grapple, thats bull. Assault has one of the cheapest grapples in the game that 8/10 times is a ring out.

    Well.. Though it's unlikely they'll do anything about it, I definately agree.. or at least make him able to grapple jackbots, and do roughly the same amout of damage as an assassin.. Otherwise it just seems useless. :(

    (And by the way, I'm super retarded at playing gunner, so if it would unbalance something, forgive me. ^^ )

    He still has to switch to his secondary to use it, though. =/

    He's talking about Grapple 3 aka Shoryuken.

    BTW, your statement about the Assault isn't true on Steel Peel, its a dome.

    Actually, no he doesn't. Once you fully upgrade his charge skill, he does a charge then grapple which launches the enemy off into the distance (most of the time ring out, but not all the time). Using assault a lot, it's my primary defense against assassins, besides flying (where they can't grapple you)

    Ah, right, I forgot about that.

    Still, my statement about the Gunner stands. A lot of people don't even get the Grapple upgrades because they feel like it's a waste of money, and they instead spend it on turrets/bots/juice. Guides around here advise people to do that, as well.

    YES!!!

    Gunner should only Deploy, generally Deploy sucks on the Tank, since his Mobility and AoE is what he can do. I only ever grab lvl 2 Deploy to quick heal sometimes, other then that pointless. Since his B has a Knockback, and generally he is slow. It doesn't make sense how he can get close to people. Which leads me to...

    Gunner's Grapple, Snipers is good Freeze+Grab done, but Gunner's makes no sense...he has a Knockback plus does INSANE damage...unless he is reloading, and slam is on CD I can't see ever using it.

    Tank/Assault: Charge...is fine actually. Assualt's charge is more 1v1, while Tank's is a AoE knockback.

    I can't think of what I would change, I would make the Gunner have some type of Survivability instead of the Grab, and maybe some more CC for the Tank, a slow or something.
