I have been playing a GW on absurd and only playing when I felt up to it. As I understood it it should persist even if I make anther skirmish or tweak settings, both of which I did. But as of this morning my GW of the last two weeks, I was about ten figthts in, has disappeared. It was a sudden death hardcore setting but I lost an AI skirmish in the meantime, practicing for multiplanet games with two enemy commanders, that was a separate SP game and should not have erased the GW. Is that what did it though? Was there an update or server hiccup or something or did I do wrong tweaking "Orbital Shell" to range instead of selection? My previous GW was there for years.... EDIT never mind I found it among saved games , yay! but it had disappeared from the single player drop down list... played a game and its back.
