I think there might be a bug with the anti-nuke launcher. I recently played a AI game. Knowing they are nuke happy now, i built 4 anti-nuke launchers and loaded all 3 missiles into each of them. This gave me 12 times to not need to worry about nukes. But I noticed that when multiple nukes are launched at me at once ( more than 2) then the anti nuke launcher only fires off one interceptor and fails to launch the rest, thus allowing the other nukes to detonate. Is this a bug or working as intended and i need overlapping anti-nuke defenses?
I've found that antinukes defend multiple missiles absolutely fine. Perhaps it was aimed outside the antinuke range?
I've had the same issues with anti-nukes not working against the new AI as well. Maybe it's all part of Sorian's plan to exploit weaknesses in the game code?
I have not had this problem yet but i have encountered the problem where my anti nuke interceptor missile misses the nuke and then my base is devastated. I noticed that this happens when the nuke has started its downward path to its target the interceptor missile will fail to hit the nuke. I don't know if it is a timing issue or was designed this way but it seems to be a problem because the nuke can then destroy the antinuke within its range which seems to fail to meet the requirement of an anti-nuke.
What the hell is the point of antinuke? My base keeps being devastated by AI using nukes because the antinuke doesn't seem to work at all?
