wait, thats not the match, thats my day at work that I SAID I WOULD BE AT ON THE WEEKENDS A HALF A WEEK BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT STARTED.

well, im not much into tournaments anyway. i woulda declined my prize to one of our alternates. i was in it for the glory. and hopefully we can have a non-tournament match and i can have that glory one day.

therefore, i believe we went wrong when we didnt hold the anomalies to a time I COULD PLAY DURING!

next tourney flamebait participates in, ill be schedule coordinator. ill set the date AND a backup a week in advance. that way something cant go wrong and we need to push the game back to a day i cant play on.

i shoulda brought the xbox, tv, surge protector, lan cable, laptop, and set it up at work. but that would probably get me fired more than taking a day off would have.

by the way, i neither wanted the prize nor believe we woulda won the tournament. i just wanted to play. THATS why im upset. NOT cuz we lost. and its not even that big of a deal, now that we are signed up at fraggednation, we can play anytime outside of the tourney bracket. ill be fine with that, i have modding to do coming up, its a hellova day at work but im quite pleased with life.

no profound sadness here. on that note, i recommend meditation here to anyone. it does wonders. and christians can meditate too, dont give me that clashing with religions stuff. nothing in christianity says taoism or buddhism is wrong, they are mutually exclusive actually cuz one acts as a religion and the other more of a philosophy. seriously tho, try meditation.

lol my comments didnt lead you to believe it was a slaughter?

they probably grabbed the whole field right at the beginning of the game, and put enough pressure to eventually collapse flamebait's turrets and bots, ending the game once that happened. wether they spawncamped after that or not, we werent there. but i heard there was a huge gap between their players and ours.

I wanted to be there, but I wasn't on either team, therefore I wasn't able to play, but let me tell you how I think it happened: The Anomalies took Flaimbait's moneyball down and shot it a lot.

I guess we - Anomalies - just played more aggressively than them. Both teams lost turrets regularly, but we just held Bots back, rather than waste money building Turrets that would just be Juiced to pieces.

well anyhow, i think you just heard it.

btw, turrets do work. if you have someone to keep juicers away from them. someone to counter and/or crowd control. but he was too busy keeping trespassers out of some condemned buildings in baytown, texas. thanks for scheduling the game when im not able to play. that will cost you one man card. i appreciate the payment, and will promptly stick this in the shredder

Seeing as how no one else from the game has posted, I'll do it.

Well, to the best of my knowledge, it was good games all around, but the winner was defined pretty early on. The first game was over relatively quickly, on Spunky I believe? No real OMFG moments that I recall, just pushed hard and fast that's what she said lol.

Next, LazeRazor.... I think. This one took much longer. Lots of pushing both ways, until eventually a push with juice let us through. Again, the moneyball went down, and, once it did... doesn't go back up.

We had a last game on Ammo Mule. This was the most memorable and took the longest by far. Lots of turrets were made, keeping our bots out and my face sad. Trying our damndest to push bots, me and Ninja were running around playing tag, ending it with hugz. A Support (McLovin?) refused to let anything happen to his turrets or team for the longest time. After a freaking eternity, I started getting juice, getting kills, some speed pick ups, and it all went downhill from there. Started chaining juice, and continuously slaughtered any turrets there, slashed pros, and decimated bots. Ball went down, and, it stayed down.

So, from my PoV, they were good games, but there seemed to be a lack of coordination between players on the enemy team. Me and the others would constantly exchange information in an attempt to keep things going in our favor. The actual player skill seemed to be slightly in our favor as well. I'd say out of a scale of one to ten, us being ten due to a win, I'd say they were a 8, or 7.5 at the worst.

Yeah, I pretty much expected it. We never played one match together (well, not to my knowledge) so yeah, that was going to be our downfall.

no, again, we were missing people. an assault and sniper really helps to, you know, keep enemy juice to a minimum and enemy juice-rushers from doing extensive damage. that is why we lost, not this (massive epic rage coming, i may be banned, later yall)

the game time wasnt in our favor at all. yes you had a skill gap, made by our player's inavailibility for that time slot. and no, your team wasnt more coordinated, you simply had an easier time with the matchup NOT INVOLVING AN ASSUALT OR SNIPER. i know how i would have played, and i would have negated the juice-losing. every game was a juice-lose. im not complaining about juice, im complaining about setting the time so you effectively made it a pubstomp.

ive been in servers against sigmar and deadeye's whole team before, with maybe one friend in my team before. that was the equivalent to this match. it meant no more than that as far as a match goes. end of rant.

we had players, but none of our normal classes were there, our team had no balance, and that produced a weakness.

I had to stay up 'till 2 in the morning dude - no time is going to suit everyone, unfortunately.

you had to stay up to play. i would have stayed up to play. i wanted it scheduled between 2 12hr shifts, so i could play, even tho id drowned in lack of sleep the next day at work.

but the time was while i was still at work. after i told you about those hours not being an option a half a week before the start of the tournament.

what we should have done, was none of us show up at all, and leave you hanging. that way, you couldnt have posted ^that. with how it was set up and how it ended, thats what i really wish they did.

not showing up = more honor than a forced-lose with a side of brag-about-it.
