It's been a long time since i have been thinking about Planetary Annihilation. Not too many things have happened the last weeks anyways. Yet to this day i am still looking forward to the game, and probably will get the Cosmic edition sometime next month when i get the money for it. Right now i was thinking of some suggestions for design in the game. I have been giving this some thought, and i dont really see how this will work out to an end as the other Commanders have arms fitted with engineering and weaponry. Right now i am talking about the Theta Commander. He has a huge upper body/shoulder build with 2 sluggy small arms not suitable to engineering work or weaponry. So how will Uber design him? I have a few thoughts in mind. As his rough simple first-look sketch shows he does not have anything mounted. Heck, we could consider him the T-rex of PA. So how should the Theta commander operate? I can think of a few suggestions like shoulder mounted cannons or missile batteries. But what about drones? Drones that deploys from hatches at the top of the shoulders. This thought shouldnt be unfamiliar to any Supreme commander fans, as the Cybrans had tiny batches of engineering drones that assisted or did all the construction by themself. So lets say the Theta commander has the left side cross-striped with the engineering stripes, and the right side has some kind of weaponry in it. A mounted turret perhaps? Missile battery? It's not like it will go falcon punch of the universe i hope. Any ideas or suggestions? If Uberent answers this little mystery about our expected T-rex that would be awesome too. Maybe they will adopt or listen to a few suggestions around here.
I'm just imaging a T-Rex commander now. His tiny little arms would be for construction beams, and all his weapon fire could come from mostly his mouth but also his tail aswell?
