An Act of Fairness

I feel terrible that I cannot remember the name of the particular Sniper who did this, but I would like to give a shout out to him nonetheless.

While playing in Steel Peel earlier, I lunge-grappled a Sniper without realizing he was overhealed. I backed up quickly after he was left with more than half of his health and he shot me with the SMG, lowering my health to under half. I smoke bombed with the intent to jump onto the middle ring, but the jump failed and I landed in his ice trap behind me.

Now, instead of killing me, he just stood there. As soon as the freeze ended I made a mad dash back to my base.

After the game was over, I had to ask why he didn't kill me, because I felt that was odd. He said that he saw that I had smoke bombed and that the jump had failed. He said he felt that it was only fair that he not kill me, because if that jump had succeeded he would not have been able to kill me.

I'm glad to see such thoughts exist in this game. A huge shout out to you Sniper! And I'm sorry I can't remember your name :?

No, it's a common bug that happens far too much. I jump right after the smoke bomb, but it ends up just being a regular jump. Several people have noticed this.

Everyone lets someone go once in a while. It's just annoying when the idiot they let go still goes for the kill.

are you talking about when you're host? otherwise it works every time for me. dont know how you experience this bug

It works for me about 50% of the time.

when im host it fails like 15% of the time which is user error

when im not host it never fails

Agreed. Snipers are SUPPOSED to be pissing people off,just like asassins!

I've got DeadEye on ignore, but I had to see that stupidity anyway since you quoted what was obviously flame bait (and now I did it too. Damn.). Get on the ball Lief. Are you on the ball?

It depends on what type of game I was playing. If I had my tryhard pants on, I would have killed you Lief, because those pants are hard to take off once you've put them on. If not, I would have tried to go for a melee kill instead, which would still give you a chance to get away.

Oh yea.. I forgot. If someone fucks up and does something stupid, you're supposed to let them live.

what up peachy i played you last night early this morning.
both with and against you. that little kid was talking alot of smack considering for 4 games that i played against you your team outnumbered us by about double. i put him in his place though when teams were even.

you yourself are pretty darn good though.

It is not my fault that there is a bug that prevents me from using the smoke bomb jump. I have used it enough to know how it works, and I'm am 100% sure this is a bug and not user error.

True.. Just thought that snipers and asassins come and kill you in the least fitting situations(While you got juice,taunting,fighting another pro and so on.) the most of the time.(Let us not begin talking about the snipers effectiveness at locking lanes.... :? )
Altough I would really like to meet this guy.. Somebody that actually gives a :?: :?: about fairness in this world would be great.
