AmmoMule Video and Bacon Wallpaper!

Hi Gang,

Uber is releasing a new video today for Monday Night Combat. The AmmoMule video showcases a battle between Gunner and Support and one of thirty fictitious sponsored upgrades that players can buy for each of the six character classes in Monday Night Combat XBLA. The AmmoMule upgrade increases clip size for any weapon and character class. As a bonus we've included an AmmoMule wallpaper that depicts ammo high-fiving a slice of bacon.

Video Details:

The video was produced in house with a small team at Uber and rendered in real-time through the game engine using game assets with 2d overlays done in post. The music was produced by Chris Velasco and Robert Navarro of Monarch Audio who composed music for God of War 1, 2, 3, Darksiders and Borderlands. Banjo and steel stringed guitar played by Bill Knopf, a former banjo player for the original Dukes of Hazzard TV Show. Did we mention that we love bacon.

That is undoubtably the best idea I've ever seen my entire life.

BACON! I love this one! I got to see them working on it, and the first thing that I saw was the Gunner slamming the Support guy's head into the ground. I thought that was going to be the best part of the trailer.... and then they added bacon.

I love the video! And I'll make some bacon later today, that's for sure...

The bullet high fiveing the bacon should be the logo on the gun.

Where did the slogan come from?

Initially it was just AmmoMule which was an upgrade for bigger clip size for your weapon. During the production of the commercial, we thought it would be funny to make it also be a consumer product. You know, something to do when you're not unloading your bullets. That coupled with the idea of making bacon worked well together. We love bacon. And then the slogan came out of that. It's an organic process and we start with a rough concept, review it, add stuff to it to make it funnier as we go. We'll be doing a making of video soon to show you how the process works.

Will there be more videos for the upgrades in the game?

We plan to but it all depends on time. We will be focusing on showing off gameplay for the next video.

Awsome video i really liked but i couldnt of noticed were those mudflaps on the back of the gunners shoulders?

Yup they were mudflaps.

I knew it,but what would he need mudflaps for anyways.

Arms are the weak point of a robot/Exoskeleton suit, They add extra protection by blocking the view of snipers.
