So, from the reference thread, I noticed there was a physics setting for "ignore collisions" and it immediately reminded me of the many discussions had on the topic of balancing air units by making air units collide.

I don't have the alpha. Do air units have this turned off, or does "Navigation type: air" work in a special way?

What happens if you set air unts to collide?

I don't have the alpha, obviously

    No luck, sorry.

I did some further testing, this doesn't appear to be weapon collision related (for example, air factories inherit base_unit, which has ignore_collisions = true. But I was able to get weapons fire to hit it). Structures are the only units to have this value, which makes me suspect it is movement related.

Okay, that's interesting, thanks for checking it out for me.

I wonder if new navigation types can be added.
