Aim assistance?

For some odd reason why is it when i have a target in the aim ridicule and slightly follow their lead and fire with the assault rifle it seams almost like it stays locked onto the target.

I mean i play with sensativity 8 and its lose as hell but if i got someone in the line of the scope and im shooting at them and they are moving it seams like the circle just follows their movement and i barely have to more it.

so there is an aim assistance in this game?
how is it clearly activated though and what weapons does it do this on?

On my old connection aim assist never worked, hell I didn't even know it existed but now on my new improved connection: it feels like cheating!!! eg walking & jumping along minding my own business & my crosshair moves, 1 charge/ lunge grapple / slam & grapple later I've got a kill off a cloaked assassin ? Surely I shouldn't get aim help for someone cloaked, Just a small gripe even though it gets me money for cheap kills but it just doesn't feel right.

yeah, you should try it on host. ridiculous.

I don't know of any console game without aim assistance. Except when you are sniping in a lot of games, then it is turned off.
