I am sure they will add in AI when they think it is ready. There are many things that should be added in, AI probably isn't on top of it, patience is the key Remember this is alpha and i don't think AI will be added for the alpha, not this early anyway.
Sorian, our AI programmer, has been busy working on the game sim code. I'd love for him to get some time to work on the AI during the alpha (as would he), but realistically he won't be able to get to it for a bit still.
AI would be nice in alpha sooner than later, but I honestly don't mind the sandbox feel to playing a game alone at this moment. If I want a challenge, I'll try playing with other humans
Same here. I view the vs. "AI" mode as more of a "practice stuff" mode. Which is nice. Still, I've heard cool things about Sorian, and AI, and I'm really stoked :mrgreen:
A.I is always an interesting subject in my opinion, and I hope we'll see or hear about it soon. Not saying I want it in the alpha already but I'm really looking forward to see how its developing. Right now I don't mind messing around alone or playing with dem other peeps
