I've found that with the current build (56821), the AI just tries to raid the nearest player's mex and tries to attack the main base, but neglects completely to build any defenses WHATSOEVER. They do, however, build bombers. This goes on for about 15 minutes, then they start throwing up catapults and holkins, often more than their economy can handle - I destroyed 4 incomplete holkins with engineers just mindlessly building, even though I had just destroyed half his energy a few minutes before. The AI is very good at whittling down a force before it gets into their main base, but is almost incapable of completely stopping it, because they do not vector units to defend. <-- That is a huge issue and makes them incredibly vulnerable. Nukes from the AI are more sporadic now. They tend to spam ants and dox now, and build T2 Engineers instead of something productive like Levelers. They did throw in some t2 bots near the end, but i only saw one.....which I thought strange. PROS OF THE AI: They attack you from all sides almost immediately. If I hadn't scouted him already I would have had no clue where his base was. Very good at attacking, just not good at sending enough units to break through The first five minutes of the game, it felt like I was playing another player, until I started attacking him and he lost ground.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THIS EXPLAINS WHY THE AI WILL NOT ATTACK ME IF I SET RESOUCSES TO OVER 9000. Thank you for clearing that up for me, I will build mex to make AI attempt to kill me.
